Did you know that hunger is still an issue for some in Durham? At the end of September eight MI employees volunteered their time to appear in a video promoting Neighbors Feeding Neighbors, an organization that helps fight hunger.

The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) has funded a partnership between Josh Wilson and Charles MacArthur, faculty in the University of Delaware School of Education, and Gaysha Beard, supervisor of English language arts (ELA) at Delaware’s Red Clay Consolidated School District.

I love to write. Writing makes me feel as though I am plumbing depths of myself that I do not always know exist. I’m often surprised by my writing because the words somehow magically appear on the paper, having flowed not from my mouth but from my fingers, somehow also bypassing my conscious brain.
In my personal life, I write to figure out what I think and feel about things. In my professional life, I write for content marketing, using good stories to support an organization’s brand.
